N.J. man sentenced to prison in 114 mph fatal Parkway crash
A man has been sentenced to state prison in a 114 mph crash on the Garden State Parkway that took the life of another driver. Rolando Godwin, 47, of Newark, received a 12-year sentence on Friday, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. He pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter earlier this year.

PARSIPPANY — On Saturday, July 20, at 10:59 p.m., officers responded to a report of a significant physical disturbance outside a residence on Roosevelt Ave. Upon arrival, numerous individuals scattered, fleeing through the surrounding yards. A 17-year-old juvenile was allegedly assaulted by one of the unidentified individuals who fled before police arrival, resulting in a non-life-threatening head injury. The juvenile was transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment.

According to borough officials, someone fraudulently posing as an ADT representative have been texting residents about upgrading their alarm system. The fraudster would then come to the residence to allegedly perform an upgrade. SOMERS, N.Y. - An employee of The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has been charged with physically attacking a disabled resident, state police said. Jossette F.
