WILSON MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO DRUG AND GUN CHARGES
(WNY News Now) – BUFFALO, N.Y. – U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced that a Wilson, NY, man who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, being a user of a controlled substance in possession of firearms, and being a felon in possession of firearms, was sentenced to serve 36 months in prison by Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny.
One person dead after a plane crash in Youngstown
One person is dead after a plane crash in Youngstown. The fatal crash took place near Lake Rd. Niagara County Sheriff's officials state that around 11:40 a.m. Saturday, 911 received a call about a small plane crash near Fort Niagara. Niagara County Sheriff's deputies, New York State Police, Town of Lewiston Police and New York State Park Police responded to the scene. The Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company was also on hand to extinguish a fire at the site.
State Police arrest a man for public lewdness in Walmart
LOCKPORT, N.Y. — The New York State Police say they arrested a 45-year-old Lockport man for alleged public lewdness while in the electronics section of Walmart. Troopers were called to the Walmart on South Transit Road in Lockport on July 15 just after 9pm for a report of a man watching inappropriate videos on a display phone in the store's electronics section, and acting inappropriately while sitting in an electronic scooter.

(WNY News Now) – On Saturday morning, Dewayne A. Vass of Getzville was arraigned before Buffalo City Court Judge Diane Y. Wray, who was also acting as an Amherst Town Court Justice. Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announced that Vass faced charges including two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree (Class “A-I” felonies), four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (Class “B” felonies), one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony), and six counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class “A” misdemeanors).

Haney was convicted of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute and distributing heroin, fentanyl, and butyryl fentanyl.
Amherst man rushed to ECMC after an overnight shooting
BUFFALO, N.Y. — An Amherst man was rushed to Erie County Medical Center after an overnight shooting in the City of Buffalo. The 22-year-old man arrived in a civilian vehicle at ECMC with a gunshot wound around 2 a.m. Saturday, Buffalo Police said in a statement. The man is currently listed as stable.
