MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The City of Murfreesboro Community Development Department has awarded the Murfreesboro Housing Authority (MHA) with $1.1 million in federal grant funding for the Mercury Court Redevelopment Phase I Plan. The CDC reported over 107 thousand drug overdose deaths in 2023 alone. Drug Take Back Day would allow the public to dispose of these medications with no questions asked at one of the blue MedSafe boxes in the following areas.

‘Diverging Diamonds’ Interchange Patterns Emerging in Tennessee
A unique traffic route may be coming to an interstate new you. However, it may cause you to drive on the “wrong” side of the road. It’s called a Diverging Diamond Interchange (or DDI for short) and the first DDI in middle Tennessee opened at the end of May in Spring Hill on Interstate 65 at June Lake. More of these unique intersections are planned for the middle Tennessee area.
