CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University has fined and suspended two groups of pro-Palestine protestors who set up camp on the OSU campus for several weeks back in May. OSU has suspended Students United for Palestinian Equal Rights (SUPER) for three years and Young Democratic Socialists of America for one year as recognized student organizations. University officials said the camp that protestors set up violated the academic code of conduct. Illicit drugs found in Roseburg park spark outrage from community
ROSEBURG, Ore -- Residents are frustrated after methamphetamine was discovered in Fir Grove Park, a popular destination for families. The Douglas County Interagnecy Narcotics team reported the discovery of the illicit drugs on August 13, 2024. The exact amount of methamphetamine has not yet been given. The drugs were discovered in what appeared to be two brand-new bags of charcoal briquettes in the brush along a trail in the park.
