Riley Township man sentenced to maximum 20 years for setting ex-girlfriend’s vehicle, garage on fire
A St. Clair County man has been sentenced to a minimum of 30 months, maximum of 20 years in prison for setting his ex-girlfriend’s house on fire in September 2023. 31-year-old Zachary Zielonka of Riley Township pled no contest in June 2024 to a charge of second degree arson and first degree home invasion, both of which are 20 year felonies. He was sentenced Tuesday, August 6, by Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Julie Gatti.
