Vehicle fire sends large plume of smoke into the air in southwest Cedar Rapids
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A vehicle fire at Pro Tow on 76th Avenue SW in Cedar Rapids sent a large plume of smoke up in the air on Friday morning. Firefighters tell TV9 a fuel tank leak caused the fire at around 9:30 a.m. The fire hit nearby 55 gallon plastic drums that were full of fuel.

A Bettendorf motorcyclist who has not been identified was injured Thursday night in Scott County, according to a news release from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
