Fort Wayne gardener provides updates on record-holding sunflowers
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — After holding the U.S. record for tallest sunflower in 2022 and 2023, one local farmer hopes to continue the trend. After starting the season with 16 sunflowers, Alex Babich, a Fort Wayne farmer, has 10 left growing and at the start of July already had three over 15 feet.
