Early Morning Crash in Fort Wayne Leaves Two Dead, Two Critically Injured
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – In the early hours of Saturday, July 6, a crash occurred at the intersection of South Lafayette Street and South Anthony Blvd. The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) received a report around 4 AM about a two-vehicle accident involving a gray sedan and a white SUV. Upon arrival, the FWPD and the Fort Wayne Fire Department (FWFD) found the sedan engulfed in flames and the SUV in a ditch.

Police search for missing 83-year-old from Kokomo last seen in Fort Wayne area
KOKOMO, Ind. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 83-year-old man missing from Kokomo. According to the Kokomo Police Department, James “Jim” Umbarger went missing from his Kokomo home on Thursday. A family member last spoke to Umbarger around 2 p.m. where he learned that the missing man was somewhere in the Fort Wayne area. Umbarger was unsure how he had gotten there.
