Milling and Paving to Take Place on Mooreland Drive in Springfield This Week

The City of Springfield will begin milling (Aug. 27, Aug. 28) and paving (Aug. 30, Sept. 3, Sept. 4) Mooreland Drive this week.

Milling will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 27, weather permitting, and continue through Aug. 28.

Paving is scheduled to begin on Friday, Aug. 30 and resume on Tuesday, Sept. 3 and Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Residents should expect traffic delays and one-lane closures at different points along Mooreland Drive over the next two weeks. To reduce the impact on Memorial Boulevard during peak times, work will start each morning near 22nd Avenue.
