Brighton Papa John’s to open in July

BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WROC) — Papa John’s is returning to the Rochester area! The last location in the 585 closed in 2018.

Now they’re opening in Brighton on West Henrietta Road, in an old Cricket Wireless location. It will be a delivery and takeout place only, both through their own drivers and third-party apps.

The owner and operator of this location, Jamie McVannan, as been an operator of Papa John’s locations for over 20 years, and has multiple locations in Ithaca.

He says this is the right time to open here.

“The tming is perfect, Papa John’s is on a fantastic growth spurt, this is a great location, the traffic is non-stop going by,” he said. “We want to be a community partner again, we look forward to servicing businesses, schools, universities, moms and dads, and kids, that’s what we do in our markets and Rochester deserves a Papa John’s.”

The management team is all set, but they’re hiring for many other positions. McVannan encourages people to go to the location to pick up an application

This location is expected to open between July 18th and 22nd.
