Assemblymember Bronson hosts pride picnic with Rainbow Seniors ROC

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Assemblymember Harry Bronson teamed up with Rainbow Seniors ROC to host the annual Roc Pride Picnic on Sunday afternoon at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester. The parade was also celebrating a 52-year legacy as a multigenerational, family-friendly event.

Rainbow Seniors ROC Launched in 2020, Rainbow Seniors ROC seeks to equitably embrace, celebrate, support and advocate for the broad spectrum of LGBTQIA+ older adults and promote their highest quality of life for all ages.

All of its programs are free and open to the public. Its mission “enables LGBTQIA+ older adults to remain connected to the community, engaged in enjoyable activities and securely linked to the social services they need to thrive,” those with Rainbow Seniors ROC said.
