Thorgy Thor and the Thorchestra to perform with RPO

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and Trillium Health kicked off Rochester Pride Week Monday with a special announcement about its 2024/25 season.

Thorgy Thor and the Thorchestra will perform one time only with the RPO and the Rochester Gay Men’s Chorus. The Rupaul’s Drag Race all-star and classically trained violinist will show off her talents at Kodak Hall on February 13, 2025.

“When we think about our community and think about mashups, we think about how to bring people doing great work together,” State Senator Jeremy Cooney said. “We know that Rochester is a musical community. We know we have a world class orchestra. We know that we have a diverse population that celebrates the LGBT+ community. We know that we are an inclusive and welcoming community.”

Pre-sale tickets will be available to all RPO subscribers and Trillium account holders starting 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16. Tickets will be available to the general public starting 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 19. Prices start at $24.
