ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — We’ll see mostly clear skies for the overnight hours as lows slip to the mid 60s.

Monday, we’ll start out dry with growing cloud cover through the day eventually culminating in a few showers and storms into the late afternoon and into the evening as a disorganized low pressure moves to our south. We’ll be seasonably warm with highs in the mid-80s for most.

Into Tuesday some showers are likely through the early morning hours before clearing up closer to sunrise. We’ll be fairly dry through most of the daylight hours on Tuesday with a small chance of a few isolated showers and storms creeping up in the afternoon in the heat of the day. Highs will peak in the mid-80s again.

Wednesday and Thursday we begin to ramp up our rain chances more. Wednesday will see showers and storms develop later in the day, and carry over into the overnight hours as a cold front passes through the region. Rain will wrap up through Thursday morning as the front exits east.

Highs dip off into the end of next week post front with highs into the low 80s and upper 70s through Saturday. Longer term into August things look to kick off on a hotter note for the new month. Stay tuned!
