SPoT Coffee on East Ave. was vandalized over the weekend, according to the Rochester Police Department.

After 11 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a report that a male was breaking the windows of the coffee shop. RPD stated that the preliminary investigation suggests that the suspect kicked and broke one of the store's front windows and a window on the front door.

On Facebook, SPoT Coffee announced that it is deeply saddened by the incident but that the coffee shop is open.

"We are grateful that no one was injured during the incident and want to reassure our customers and community that their safety is our top priority," the coffee shop stated on Facebook. "The necessary repairs are underway, and we are working diligently to restore our café to its welcoming and vibrant atmosphere."

In the post, SPoT Coffee stated that they are cooperating with law enforcement to help identify the individual responsible. On Saturday, RPD said there were no suspects in custody.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
