    Oregon Police arrest Rockford man for repeatedly making threats via 911 calls

    OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — A 23-year-old Rockford man was arrested twice in one day for making repeated threatening calls to 911.

    According to the Oregon Police Department, Kristopher Mockovak was charged with disorderly conduct after calling the 911 center at 2:25 a.m. on Thursday, June 20th.

    Police said the call was made from the area of 5th and Washington Streets.

    He was taken to the Ogle County Jail and then released on a notice to appear at a future court date.

    However, police said that shortly after his release, Mockovak dialed 911 again.

    Court records show Mockovak has been charged with Harassment through Electronic Communication, Harassment by Telephone with the Intent to Threaten Any Person at Called Number, Reporting a False Alarm or Complaint via 911,

    Ogle County State’s Attorney Mike Rock ordered Mockovak held without pretrial release until his future court date.
