Monmouth Junction and Kingston Fire to hold a Township-wide Motorcade for 100th Anniversary
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The Monmouth Junction Volunteer Fire Department and the Kingston Volunteer Fire Company will have a motorcade around the township on Saturday in celebration of their 100th anniversary. Dozens of emergency vehicles will participate in this celebration, according to a press release. The motorcade will start at 11:30 AM from Campus Drive off of Route 1 south. The route will proceed southbound on Route 1. From there, the motorcade will travel onto Ridge Road, Heathcote Road, Route 27, and onto Promenade Blvd. The motorcade will cross over Route 1 onto Route 522, then will travel to Stouts Lane, Ridge Road, Kingston Lane, Georges Road, Culver Road, Friendship Road, and Broadway Road. Judge throws out disciplinary charges against Spotswood's police chief, acting captain
SPOTSWOOD - A Superior Court judge has dismissed the disciplinary charges filed by the borough against Police Chief Philip Corbisiero and acting Captain Nicholas Mayo, saying that the municipality did not comply with the state's Internal Affairs Policies and Procedures.
