Concerns Raised About Proposed Rollin Twp. Dollar General Site Plan
Rollin Twp., MI – Well over 100 people packed the Rollin Township Hall on Thursday afternoon for a special meeting of the Rollin Township Planning Commission. The one agenda item was approval of a site plan for a Dollar General store to be located on the corner of Manitou road and main street at the south end of Devils Lake (pictured below).

Former clerk challenges incumbent for Leoni Township supervisor
JACKSON COUNTY, MI - Two long-time staples of the Leoni Township community are facing off for the top township board seat on Aug. 6. Republican Michele Manke is challenging incumbent Howard Linnabary for the role of Leoni Township supervisor in the primary election. Linnabary has filled the seat since being elected in 2016.
