In April, several milestone events will be happening in Rosebud and the Wednesday Study Club is preparing for some of those events.

At their recent meeting on March 13, they viewed the Power Point program “If Walls Could Talk” that depicted the many uses of the Community Room of the D Brown Library over the past 75 years.

On Sunday April 28, at 2 p.m. members of the club will present the Power Point program along with providing a reception celebrating 75 years of the D Brown Library.  Everyone in the Rosebud area is invited to attend.

Also, at the recent WSC meeting, members dusted and arranged the Memorial Room of the D Brown Library in preparation for the 43rd Annual Golden Years Reunion to be held on Saturday, April 6.

The Memorial Room will be open that day from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and members will be available to show Rosebud High School annuals and the Stubbs’ class yearbooks along with other memorabilia.

The Rosebud Museum will also be open on April 6 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the  viewing of “everything Rosebud.”

The Museum has acquired numerous collections of Rosebud antiquity, and it is certainly a walk down memory lane to view all the items that they have on display.

Although no formal  plans have been made, Rosebud citizens are encouraged to view the total eclipse of the sun  on Monday ,April 8. Be sure to use approved eyewear. Also be prepared for possible visitors in the area.  Let’s make them welcome to Rosebud.

So mark your calendar for these exciting April milestone events in Rosebud.
