Driver Arrested After Leaving The Scene Of An Accident With A UTV.
Terre Haute, In. A Rosedale man is facing charges after he fled the scene of an accident last week. Around 1:30 last Wednesday 47-year-old Jerry Mills II, of Rosedale, allegedly hit a utility task vehicle which is a larger ATV forcing it to swerve and crash into mowing equipment that was cutting grass. The driver was thrown from the UTV and hit by another vehicle. Witness said that Mill stopped briefly then took off. After reviewing surveillance camera video and talking with witnesses the Police identified Mills as the suspect. Police arrested Mill Friday. He faces charges of Leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury, driving while suspended resulting in injury, operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility with a prior conviction. The driver of the UTV is in the hospital in Indianapolis.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Local drivers and first responders are frustrated with train traffic blocking popular intersections for long periods of time. Terre Haute is a major national crossroads for rail transportation. CSX transportation, and the Indiana Rail Road both operate hundreds of miles of track around the city, and thousands of miles throughout the state. 60-80 CSX trains pass through the city every day. Although CSX trains are just doing their job, residents and first responders are frustrated when long trains will "park" on the tracks across busy intersections.

Archuleta announces addition of Cardenas to Sycamore baseball coaching staff
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State head coach Tracy Archuleta announced the addition of Gordon Cardenas to the Sycamore baseball coaching staff in the summer of 2024. Cardenas joins the Sycamores by way of Southern Indiana where he served on Archuleta's staff over the last two years with the Screaming Eagles.
