Report: Many folks need more than 1 job to afford a NJ apartment
New Jersey continues to be one of the nation's most expensive spots for renters, according to a yearly state-by-state report. With the goal of spending no more than 30% of income on rent, workers would need to earn more than $38 per hour in order to afford a modest, two-bedroom apartment in the Garden State, finds the Out of Reach report published by the National Low Income Housing Coalition and the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey.

A house in Irvington that sold for $465,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Irvington area in the past week. In total, nine residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $317,667. The average price per square foot ended up at $246.
Macy's Fireworks Event Draws Crowds to Waterfront
HOBOKEN, NJ- The Macy’s Fireworks returned to the Hudson River on July 4th for the first time in ten years. There were five barges on the water with 60,000 shells to light up the sky.
