Man dies after being found with possible stab wounds, investigators say
A man died early Friday morning shortly after he was found in Newark suffering from possible stab wounds, investigators said. Newark police officers discovered the man, who was not identified, in the area of Magazine and Ferry streets in the city’s Ironbound section around 3:30 a.m., according to a statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:07 a.m.

It’s located on a one-way street behind the town hall and will remain closed to motorists until September 2. On Wednesdays through Sundays between 4:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., patrons can enjoy dining in the space.
