Denville Township School District Posts 2024 Summer Reading Assignments For Grades 7 and 8
DENVILLE, NJ - Summer reading assignments for 7th and 8th graders have been posted by the Denville Township School District. The school district says all books are free-choice but should be appropriate for independent-level students. Students should read at least two novels or chapter books before the beginning of the school year. Far Rockaway Burglary Suspect Fights with Arresting Officers, According to Officials
The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Far Rockaway man for an Assault that occurred on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 7:08 a.m. in Island Park. According to Detectives, Officers responded to a residence on Kildare Road for a Burglary. Officers located the subject in the vicinity of Long Beach Road and Carolina Avenue. They attempted to place defendant Malik Hodge, 28, of 314 Beach 45th Street, into custody. One Officer sustained injuries during the course of the arrest as the defendant was violent and combative while resisting arrest. The Officer was transported to a local area hospital for treatment and evaluation. The defendant was also transported to a local area hospital.
