    Sushi is a Japanese dish which has become extremely popular in the United States. Besides the traditional raw fish varieties, there are now many other types of sushi available at Japanese restaurants. These include rolls and other sushi which have all cooked ingredients.

    A young Japanese chef by the name of Shiro Kashiba arrived in Seattle, Washington, fifty years ago. He started his restaurant back in 1970. He introduced the first sushi bar to the city of Seattle.

    Sushi Kashiba has become a popular restaurant for fancy and innovative creations. They serve sushi and many varieties of Japanese cuisine including tempura.

    It has been rated well for the food, service, and ambiance. It is a high end restaurant with dinners around $50 or more.

    Their hours of operation are for Dinner on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. They are open on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00 PM until 9:30 PM.

    Located right next to historic Pike Place Market, the address of Sushi Kasiba is 86 Pine Street in Seattle.
