An Arkansas man suffers serious injuries when he strikes an animal with his motorcycle in Maries County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Mark Kelly, 60, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, was driving on Highway 28 about three miles west of Belle late Wednesday morning when he struck an animal in the road. The patrol says the impact caused Kelly’s bike to overturn, ejecting him.

Crawford County man charged with possession of child pornography
A Crawford County man is arrested on a child pornography charge. James Ramey, 41, of Cuba, was charged with one count of possession of child pornography Friday. The South Central Missouri Computer Crime Task Force says the investigation into Ramey was initiated as a result of a Cyber Tipline Report by an internet service provider. The ISP reported that a user, later identified as Ramey, was in possession of child pornography. Authorities say a search of the account revealed evidence of possession of child pornography for numerous months.

During the investigation, a 32-year-old Salem man was arrested. The suspect was transported to the Dent County Jail where he was incarcerated on the warrant.
