With EMS en route, police applied a tourniquet to slow the bleeding. Police said the victim, who was slipping in and out of consciousness, told the officers that a man in all dark clothing had shot him.

EMS brought the man to the hospital, where he’s listed in critical condition.

    The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the department’s South Patrol Division at 314-444-0100. If you wish to remain anonymous or are interested in a cash reward, call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477.
