5 Takeaways from the Trail Blazers' 5 Summer League games
The Portland Trail Blazers went 3-2 in the Las Vegas Summer League. The Summer League is especially entertaining when it's a rebuilding team with a high draft pick like the Blazers and Donovan Clingan. This summer further solidified the fact that Clingan was a steal at pick No. 7. His stellar play was certainly the highlight for the Blazers, but they also had a few low points.
Why the Portland Trail Blazers don't deserve a Christmas game this year
After finishing the 2023-24 NBA season last in the Western Conference with a 21-61 record, the Portland Trail Blazers still have a long way to go in their rebuilding process. There are reasons for optimism for an improved season—multiple players were injured last season, and the Blazers had 41 unique starting lineups, second only to the Memphis Grizzlies. Deni Avidja and Donovan Clingan are also excellent additions who should immediately contribute to winning with their two-way prowess.

Rachel Trice, the chief membership and marketing manager for the event organizer — the Home Building Association of Greater Portland — said that the originally planned development, Oswego Reserve, couldn’t be completed in time and so the HBA will host the Street of Dreams at that site in 2025. Report: Rising Vacancies, Flexible Lease Negotiations Mark Second Quarter of 2024 Trends in Portland’s Industrial Market
The industrial real estate market in the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro metropolitan statistical area has demonstrated notable trends and shifts over the past year, according to a recent Kidder Mathews Portland Industrial Market Report for the second quarter of 2024. Despite the stability in average asking lease rates, which remained constant at $0.88 per square foot year-over-year and quarter-over-quarter, net effective rates have declined due to increased tenant improvement allowances and free rent incentives. Kidder Mathews believes that this is an indication that while landlords are maintaining asking rates, they are more flexible in negotiations to attract and retain tenants.
