NBA legend Dwyane Wade recently revealed his honest thoughts on the Utah Jazz's selection of Cody Williams in the 2024 NBA draft. Williams was selected with the No. 10 overall pick after one season with the Colorado Buffaloes.

Wade, a minority stake owner of the Jazz, seems extremely excited to acquire the 6'7 forward. Williams finished his sole season with the Buffaloes, averaging 11.9 points and 3 rebounds.

"Let's go! Love the pick! Congrats, Cody... Time to go to work," said Wade via X.

Williams already has NBA ties with his brother Jalen Williams, who currently competes with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Wade seems to believe in Williams, knowing that he can come into Utah and make an immediate impact on an up-and-coming franchise.

The Jazz finished the 2023-24 season as the No. 12 seed in the Western Conference standings with a 31-51 record.

They picked up their biggest position of need, welcoming a two-way star who has shown insane versatility. Williams joins a squad of promising young players like Lauri Markkanen, Collin Sexton, and Keyonte George.
