DPS: Michigan Woman Killed in I-20 Crash Near Putnam Due to Wet Roadway

PUTNAM, TX — A 66-year-old woman from Michigan was killed, and two passengers were injured in a single-vehicle crash early Monday on Interstate 20, about three miles east of Putnam, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Tammy Sue Burks, the driver of a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup truck, lost control of the vehicle while traveling westbound on the interstate.
