Central Bobcats Welcome State-Ranked Abilene High to Open Season Friday

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Central Bobcats will make their debut under new head coach Mark Smith at 7 p.m. Friday by welcoming a Top 10 team to San Angelo Stadium. Talk about a daunting introduction. Abilene High, ranked No. 8 in the state in Class 5A Division I, is a difficult starting point for a Central team trying to find its footing after going 1-9 last year.
