    2-vehicle collision at Briargrove Ln results in minor injuries, citation

    SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) —A collision between a Chevy Silverado and a Blue Chevy Malibu on July 19 resulted in minor injuries and a citation for failure to yield, according to a San Angelo Police officer at the scene.

    According to an SAPD Officer at the scene, The incident occurred at the intersection of Briargrove Lane and Stone Canyon Trail. The Malibu, heading west on Briargrove, allegedly failed to yield at a sign while turning north onto Stone Canyon, leading to the collision with the Silverado.

    Responders found both vehicles damaged but the roadway was unaffected. The driver of the Silverado had no injuries, while the driver of the Malibu sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment.

    Authorities noted that the Malibu’s driver had to be extricated from the passenger side as the driver’s side door was jammed shut, trapping the individual following the incident.

    San Angelo Police arrived on the scene and issued a citation to the driver of the Malibu for failure to yield right of way.
