( KRON ) — Seven suspects who were allegedly involved in a violent San Jose sideshow have been arrested, the San Jose Police Department announced Monday. Six adults and one juvenile suspect were arrested in connection to the incident, which took place last month.

On Saturday, June 15, SJPD officers responded to the area of South Winchester Boulevard and Olin Avenue just before 7 p.m. on multiple reports of an illegal sideshow. The sideshow resulted in a spectator being struck unconscious by a vehicle driven by an unknown suspect.

A uniformed SJPD Reserve officer responded to the scene to render aid to the injured spectator. However, the officer’s patrol vehicle was overrun by multiple suspects, preventing the officer from helping the spectator.

In an incident that was captured on video , suspects got on top of the patrol vehicle, stomped on the windshield, struck side windows and tried to pull open the doors. One suspect, police said, threatened the officer, telling him they had knives.

The officer suffered minor injuries. The injured suspect suffered non-life threatening injuries. The suspects fled the scene before additional units arrived.

An investigation was launched by the SJPD Traffic Investigation Unit, and Aidan Rheault, 24, of Sunnyvale, was identified as the suspect who allegedly struck the spectator. SJPD Assault Unit detectives began a separate investigation into the assault of the officer and vandalism of the patrol vehicle. Five adult suspects, and one juvenile male suspect were identified.

The adult suspects arrested in connection to attacking the officer’s vehicle were identified as:

    • Tyler Durbin, 22, Salinas
    • Gabe Durbin, 26, Yucca, AZ
    • Jason Auby, 21, San Francisco
    • Sean Auby, 18, San Jose
    • Matthew Nolan, 20, San Mateo

The juvenile was identified as a 16-year-old Brentwood resident.

Further investigation revealed that suspect Sean Auby was illegally manufacturing ghost guns for sale and distribution, police said. Assault Unit detectives obtained arrest and search warrants for all the suspects and their residences.

A 3D printer, materials used to make firearms, and two ghost guns were seized at Sean Auby’s residence. Rheault was arrested in Mountain View on June 17 and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.

On June 19, Tyler and Gabe Durbin were arrested in San Juan Bautista and booked into Santa Clara County Jail. The juvenile was arrested in Brentwood on June 25 and booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall.

Jason Auby was arrested in San Francisco on June 27 and booked into San Franisco County Jail. That same day, Sean Auby was arrested in San Jose, and Matthew Nolan was arrested in San Mateo. Both were booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
