( KRON ) — A man was arrested on Thursday after he locked his girlfriend and her two kids in a room for four days, the San Pablo Police Department said. SPPD seized 62 guns from the suspect, who was not publicly identified.

The victims included the girlfriend and her two children — an adult and a teenager. The suspect threatened to shoot them while they were locked inside.

They were eventually able to escape, leading to the suspect’s arrest. He was taken into custody for domestic violence, kidnapping, false imprisonment and criminal threats.

Police later recovered the 62 guns, which they say were used to threaten the victims. A video showing the guns is embedded at the top of the story.

SPPD recovered 10 more guns from an unrelated subject on Sunday after he used a crossbow to shoot the windows out of his neighbor’s car, per police. He was arrested after barricading himself inside his house.
