Small Brush Fire At Six Flags Magic Mountain Quickly Extinguished

A small brush fire was reported on the grounds of Six Flags Magic Mountain Thursday afternoon and was quickly extinguished.

The brush fire, named the Maria Fire, was reported at about 1:20 p.m. Thursday at Six Flags Magic Mountain on the 26100 block of Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia, according to initial reports from the Los Angeles County Fire Department .

The Maria Fire burned an area estimated to be approximately 50 feet by 50 feet in size, per LACoFD radio traffic.

The fire is mostly out, according to LACoFD officials.

No impact is expected on park operations as of 1:35 p.m. Thursday.
