Medical device maker Nipro expected to invest $400M, hire 232 in Pitt County
Japanese medical device maker Nipro Corp. is poised to announce a roughly $400-million expansion that is expected to bring more than 230 jobs to Pitt County. The Osaka, Japan-based company has been the subject of incentives discussions with state and local officials, people familiar with the company's plans told WRAL on Tuesday. An announcement on the deal is expected as early as Wednesday.
