State high school ski championships postponed

Due to the continuing warm weather and forecast for rain this week, the Wisconsin Nordic Ski League has postponed their annual state distance championships for high school and middle school skiers. The championships were scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 10-11, at the Birkebeiner Trailhead-Mt. Telemark Village trails in the town of Cable.

Also canceled are the Hayward Lions Pre-Birkie and the North End Classic ski events, which were scheduled for Feb. 10 and 11 respectively.
