That's, however, changing this summer: Governor Kathy Hochul just announced that the state is completely waiving entry fees at 14 state parks for the rest of the season. The list includes two public pools located in New York City: Roberto Clemente State Park Pool in the Bronx and the Riverbank State Park Pools in Manhattan.

Clark Mayor Sal Bonaccorso is not apologizing for calling a political rival a slur for people with intellectual disabilities during last month’s council meeting. Bonaccorso made the derogatory remark during the township’s June 20 meeting after a Democratic candidate for council addressed the all-Republican board during its public comment portion, according to a recording on Clark’s YouTube channel.

City of Plainfield Announces Thursday Night Movies for July
PLAINFIELD, NJ — Continuing its tradition, the City of Plainfield announced its Thursday night movies for July, to be shown on the lawn at City Hall. While last year had four movies, this year will feature two. These showings typically start at dusk, which is around 8:30pm this time of year. On July 11, residents are invited to watch Kung Fu Panda 4, the latest in a series that came out in March of this year.
