Kraken Release 2024-25 Preseason Schedule

The Seattle Kraken's 2024-25 preseason schedule has been revealed.

The Kraken will play all six of their preseason games against the Western Canadian teams.

The Kraken's first preseason game will be at home against the Calgary Flames on Sept. 22. They'll then play a home and home against the Vancouver Canucks. They'll play on the road first on the 24th before returning home on the 27th.

The fourth and fifth games of the preseason will be played in Alberta with the first of the two in Edmonton on the 28th. The second matchup against the Flames will be played on the 30th before coming back home for the final game of the preseason against the Oilers on Oct. 2.

The preseason will be important for the Kraken with many of their young prospects trying to prove to the coaches and management that they deserve a roster spot or more minutes in the AHL.

Shane Wright, David Goyette, Jagger Firkus, Ryan Winterton, Ryker Evans and Jani Nyman will all be fighting for roster spots and an increased role.
