Marian Studenic will be leaving the Seattle Kraken to sign with Farjestad of the SHL.

Patrick Williams was the first to report it.

With the Coachella Valley Firebirds, Studenic scored 15 goals and 44 points in 64 games. The speedy winger has a great set of hands but has struggled to put it all together to be a consistent producer or to carve out a role in the NHL.

He was a fifth-round pick of the New Jersey Devils in 2017 and has played in 46 NHL games with both the Devils and the Dallas Stars.

The Slovak winger will be playing in the SHL, the top Swedish league for the first time in his career. Before playing professional hockey in North America, he played in the Slovak Extraliga, which is the Slovakian pro league and the OHL.

The Firebirds have now seen, Studenic, Kole Lind, Ville Petman, Chris Driedger, Cameron Hughes, Connor Carrick, Devin Shore and Jimmy Schuldt leave the team but have found some of their replacements in free agency.
