4-star RB Michael Turner is moving closer to a decision

North Richland Hills (Texas) Richland running back Michael Turner announced Baylor , Oklahoma State , SMU , TCU , Utah and Washington as his top six schools over the weekend. In the coming weeks, the four-star could be committed to one of those schools.

“I am thinking about making my decision late in July or early in August,” Turner told On3. “I am done with the visits for the summer and just trying to let it all play out. It is a hard decision because I am chill with all six schools on my list. These next few weeks, I want to think about it, let it play out and see who I feel best about.”

The only school on Turner’s list that he has yet to visit is Washington. The No. 144 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking has taken official visits to Baylor, Oklahoma State, SMU and Utah. He has taken numerous unofficial visits to TCU.

“I have a chance to play early at each school and that is what makes them stand out. The relationships are big too. All six are bringing the heat, so it makes my decision hard. I am trying to stay patient and let it all play out, but make a decision as soon as I can.”

North Carolina recently offered Turner and he could visit Chapel Hill in the fall. He has talked with Washington about an official visit to Seattle during the season as well.
