The Tennessee Titans apparently looked at the Seattle Seahawks' safety room last season and said we've got to get ourselves some of that.

Three weeks after Tennessee signed former Seattle strong safety Jamal Adams , the team is also adding former Seahawks free safety Quandre Diggs, who broke the news himself on Twitter last night . Like Adams, Diggs is coming off a rough 2023 season, but he had made the Pro Bowl for Seattle three straight years before that.

To be fair, the Seahawks' coaching staff didn't exactly set them up for success last season, especially early in the year when they were always out of position to make a play. Early on these two and part-time safety Coby Bryant were ranked as three of the worst four safeties in the NFL by Pro Football Focus, clearly pointing a finger at the coaching staff, which has since been dismissed.

However, Diggs and Adams were always likely to be cap casualties for the Seahawks this past offseason no matter how well they played. Before free agency began Seattle cut them both and took the full brunt of their dead money hits, so the team will be fully out from under both burdensome contracts by 2025.

In place of those two the Seahawks will be starting Julian Love and Rayshawn Jenkins at safety, while former Titans safety K'Von Wallace will join them on the field when they employ three-safety sets.
