Dominate bullpen effort leads Lynchburg past Carolina
The Lynchburg bullpen covered the final six inning of Sunday’s game at Five County Stadium and did not yield a run as the Hillcats earned a series split, beating the Carolina Mudcats 4-2. Lynchburg (42-33 overall, 5-4 second half) took the lead in the top of the first inning on a two-run home run by Wuilfredo Antunez, his fifth of the year to make it 2-0.
