Bodycam footage released in fatal Hamilton Township police-involved shooting
The New Jersey Attorney General's Office released body camera footage of an officer-involved shooting that left a man dead in Mercer County.It happened around 10 p.m. on March 8 on the 1800 block of Orchard Avenue.Officers were called to the home for a reported domestic dispute.After speaking with a relative outside, bodycam video shows officers walking in as they're almost immediately met with gunfire.During the encounter, Hamilton Township Police Officers Derek Fiabane and Paul Piromalli exchanged gunfire with 44-year-old Vincent Correa inside the home.Officer Fiabane and Correa were both shot.Correa was pronounced dead at the scene. A rifle and a handgun were recovered in his possession.Officer Fiabane was transported to a hospital with non-fatal injuries and has since been released.The investigation into the shooting remains under investigation.

Building heavily damaged after crash involving police SUV in Trenton, New Jersey
A police officer, another driver and a K-9 were injured after a crash that left two vehicles and a building heavily damaged on Thursday.The crash happened at the corner of 2nd and Bridge streets.According to police, the officer was responding to a report of a person with a gun shortly before noon.The officer's SUV was then struck by another vehicle after the driver ran the stop sign.The impact sent the police vehicle into a building, leaving it heavily damaged.The officer is hospitalized in stable condition. FLORENCE — A woman who says she fell into an open manhole in a Wawa parking lot has filed a lawsuit against the company. Courtney Barlow, 20, of Ewing, said she suffered permanent injury after the fall in the Route 130 store parking on Oct. 22, 2023, according to the lawsuit, which NJ.com first reported this week.

Cosenza, 60, from Easton, was using a flotation device on the Delaware River in Easton on Saturday when he entered the water for an unknown reason and did not resurface, according to the Northampton County Coroner’s Office.

TRENTON, N.J. - A police officer and K-9 were hospitalized after police say a serious crash involving another car occurred in Trenton Thursday morning. A woman was ordered to stand trial Thursday, July 18, for the murder of a 72-year-old man in Wrightstown Township in October. Meghan Macklin, 46, of Philadelphia, was charged in March with the murder of Richard Scott MacFarland in his home at 55 Apple Hill Road. Fire erupts inside Dow facility in Bristol, Bucks County
Firefighters responded to a fire inside a Bucks County chemical plant on Friday morning.The fire happened around 10:30 a.m. in the Dow Research & Development facility at 310 George Patterson Blvd. adjacent to Dow's Bristol Croydon Operations site.The fire was brought under control at 1:20 p.m.Company officials say there is no impact to the community.
