The boil advisory was issued in an abundance of caution due to damage to the water main caused by storm water flooding in Little Mill Creek, according to WaterOne.

The boil advisory will be lifted by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment as soon as test results confirm water quality safety.

For those affected, it is recommended that water be boiled for two minutes before consuming until the advisory is lifted.
