Highlighting Spring Academic Success, SCSU Owls Place 284 On NE10 Academic Honor Roll
Southern Connecticut State University Athletics & Recreation featured 284 student-athletes placed on the Northeast-10 Conference Spring 2024 Academic Honor Roll. Of the 284 student-athletes, 40 received Academic Excellence recognition after registering a 4.00 grade-point average for the Spring semester. The Owls also had 147 student-athletes finish with a GPA of 3.50 to 3.99 and were recognized with Academic Distinction honors. The remaining 97 student-athletes received Academic Honors with a GPA from 3.00 to 3.49.
North Haven Rotary Foundation Presents Scholarships for Local Gateway Students
Michael Hallahan, the assistant to the treasurer for the North Haven Rotary Foundation, recently presented a $2,000 check to Gateway Community College which will fund two $1,000 scholarships for local students. SCSU Field Hockey Announces 2024 Schedule
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut State University Field Hockey has announced its 2024 schedule, which features eight home games at Jess Dow Field. The Owls open the season in Colchester, Vt. in the Saint Michael's Tournament against Kutztown on Sept. 7 and Mansfield on Sept. 8. The Owls then play back-to-back games on the road at St. Thomas Aquinas on Sept. 11 and American International on Sept. 14.
