VA: Electronic Connector Manufacturer Virginia Panel Corp. To Expand in Waynesboro
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership announced that Virginia Panel Corporation (VPC), a manufacturer of interconnect solutions products, is investing $11 million to relocate and expand its current machine shop and implement an enterprise manufacturing system using digital technology in the City of Waynesboro. The company will retrain its current 160 employees to utilize the new system and machine shop equipment.
Gas line work could close Greenville Avenue multiple times over the next month
STAUNTON – Over Sunday night, Greenville Avenue in Staunton closed to traffic. Columbia Gas of Virginia closed the road to work on nearby gas lines. According to a Facebook post from Staunton, Greenville Avenue closures could happen “several more times” as the project continues for the next month.
