Institute Looking to Add Fifteen Members to REACH Program
(Danville, VA) – Coming on the heels of an announcement by Virginia Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine that Virginia would be receive nearly $2 million dollars in funding for Public Health AmeriCorps programs last week, the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research has allocated their portion of the grant to expanding membership in the Regional Engagement to Advance Community Health (REACH) AmeriCorps program.

University to hire more administrative staff to address graduate stipend concerns
Senior University administrators informed graduate students that the University will hire more staff in the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences in an effort to reduce errors in graduate stipend payments at a July 2 meeting.
