A dentist and her Worcester-based dental practice were indicted in connection to an alleged scheme to defraud MassHealth, the state's Medicaid program, of over $2 million, the office of Attorney General Andrea Campbell announced. Meenakshy Yegneswaran, 55, of Hopkinton, and her practice, Pleasant Street Dental, were indicted by a Worcester County grand jury. The defendants are each charged with one count of Medicaid false claims, counts of larceny over $1,200 and Medicaid excess charges. The attorney general's office alleges Yegneswaran and Pleasant Street Dental billed MassHealth for dental services that were never provided.

Born and raised in Watertown, MA; Mary attended college and graduate school at Catholic University of America (Wash DC). Foerster began working at AARP in 1974 while pursuing Master in Library Science graduate degree. She worked at AARP 17 years in National Gerontological Resource Center and State Legislation (Legislative Representative for the SW states). Foester managed State Government Affairs for MCI Long Distance Co; but returned to AARP on 9/11/2001 working on state legislation and diversity & inclusion.

For those of you unwilling or unable to attend the big-time Fourth of July activities in Boston, you might want to consider the medium-sized activities in our neighboring towns. And a reminder that the small-sized activities such as lighting off bangers in your backyard are 100% illegal in the state of Massachusetts and also 100% terrifying to wildlife and pets. Just ask Katie Puppy who used to hide for about fifteen minutes on the Fourth when fireworks were set off in Lincoln. There are no longer fireworks in Lincoln.

Rimkus: Hudson Firefighters Relief Association honors past, present members
HUDSON – Hudson Firefighters Relief Association honored members, past and present, at their annual Memorial Breakfast June 9 at the Central Firehouse on Cox Street. A wreath-laying ceremony was held at the monument honoring Firefighters William A. Russell and Timothy H. Sullivan, who died while fighting St. Michael parish hall fire, Feb. 4, 1903. Retired Firefighter Lt. David Duplisea and his son, Firefighter Keith Duplisea placed the wreath.
