We are so excited to bring The Humor & Harmony Festival to The City of Shreveport. We have assembledan incredible lineup of comedians, music artists, actors and celebrities to come visit and experience thegreat things Shreveport has to offer from August 8-11, 2024. The entire weekend is being personallyunderwritten by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson with proceeds benefitting The G-Unity Foundation, Inc., his501(c)(3) Public Charity established in 2005.
The weekend events are anchored with a blockbuster headline comedy show on Thursday, August 8th andan incredible festival-style music concert headlined by 50 Cent on Saturday, August 10th. Both eventswill be held at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. After consultation with local officials and communityleaders, we pivoted away from Independence Stadium due to the anticipated heat, humidity and potentialfor inclement weather. Both shows are now sold out, so we are exploring the potential of adding additionalshows and simulcasting the events at the G-Dome facility in the middle of Downtown Shreveport acrossfrom Stageworks.

On Friday, August 9th, we will host a Celebrity Basketball Game at Stageworks. At Festival Plaza, we willbe hosting the 50 Fit Park, an interactive inflatable obstacle course.
Each night, the G-Dome facility will be open for after-parties and we are proud to announce that RestaurantRow on the Red River District will be revitalized with amazing new pop-up restaurant concepts including SeiLess featuring a diverse Asian fusion menu, Lagos, a West-African Fusion menu and more concepts to beannounced soon.
We have secured over 700 rooms at our three partner hotels for the weekend, the Hilton Shreveport, BallysShreveport Casino Hotel and Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino. Bally’s will also host a series of privateevents and a new talent show at Allure Ultra Lounge. Sam’s Town will host daily private pool parties.
These events are all intended to bring jobs, tax revenue and tourism to the City of Shreveport. Organizing anevent of this magnitude has required months of planning and the hard work of scores of talented andengaged individuals, that we want to thank as we approach the event in just a few weeks.
We must also thank the City of Shreveport and Caddo Parish for their unwavering support and guidanceto ensure that the necessary law enforcement and logistical resources are in place to make this a safe andfun weekend for all involved. Mayor Tom Arceneaux and the Shreveport City Council have been greatpartners in consistently supporting all requests we have put before them to date. We also plan to providespecial access to members of the military and their families living and working at Barksdale Air Force Base.
