Shelley Muzny RN, BSN – Hennessey Public School nurse attended the 54th Annual School Nurse Conference July 24-25, 2024. The Oklahoma conference was held at James L. Capps Middle School Warr Acres. School nurses from across the state of Oklahoma come to this conference. While at the conference a variety of guest speakers talk about diabetes, changes in laws/legislature, and different break out sessions. Shelley went to sessions including diabetes, Stop the Bleed, Anaphylaxis and Asthma, and Nurses Role in IEPs/504’s.
