Clark County sergeant named in child enticement case
The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office has now identified the Clark County Sheriff’s Office sergeant charged with sexual exploitation of a child and child enticement, among other charges. The suspect is 38year-old Jeremy D. Chapman of Spencer, according to a press release issued June 19 by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office. The initial press release issued June 13 did not give a name.

Lightning Strike Causes Damage and Gas Leak in Marshfield Residence
MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – At approximately 4:30 PM today, the Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department responded to a reported loud bang and the smell of gas at 424 North Anton Ave. Upon arrival, there were no visible signs of smoke or fire emanating from the residence, but a strong odor of natural gas was detected in the vicinity.
